Laptops
I'm in the market for a new laptop. I need something that has the following:
DVD/CD Read and Write
Wireless LAN adapter built in
Atleast 2 Firewire
Atleast 2 USB 2.0
Good sized keyboard
Win XP
Microsoft Office
Maybe a Memory stick reader too
I'm looking for something fast that won't be real far out of date in 2 years.
I like AMD processors, but I really don't care as long as it is fast as can be.
I got around $2,000 or so to spend, maybe go as high as $2,500.
I've always liked Toshiba, but I heard their quality has gone down recently. My vid-cam and digi-cam are both Sony and have been good, so I don't think I would mind sony either (especially if I could interchange the mem-sticks). Let me know what you guys find.

shopping.hp.com There, you can fully customize a HP or Compaq with whatever you want. Service is great, and I even got my laptop shipped one week early. Those computers have all the peripherals you requested. Plus, the prices are way better than anywhere else (IE, Bestbuy, Comp USA) Its factory direct, so its really cheap too.
