.....i could really care less about this 9/11 thing, because it didn't impact my life any, so i don't get all emotional and sh*t like some people do

Well today i had the honor of playing on my trumpet our national anthem during first period while raising the flag. After school my marching band marched from my school down to the mall where they were having a remebrence. We played America the beautiful and the first 2/3rds of our peice. Today i found my self almost crying many times. The reason being 9/11 and that when it happened it took my dad away from me for a year. And some people i met on the internet actually died in 9/11.

lol....call me a bad american, but seriously, i don't really care about all this 9/11 stuff...i have never been soft hearted at all..i don't feel sorry for anyone, or anything. If it doesn't reflect on me somehow, then i don't worry/care about it

i know, i've tried...but i dunno, it just hasn't worked...NYC is like 1000 miles from me, and i didn't really care about it...i know i should, and my parents bark on me because i don't care about it, but i just really don't care..im not trying to start anything, but i just don't know. I do feel sorry for the families and stuff but i don't see why people that live in my town are cryin and stuff when they didn't know anyone who actually died.

I personally know 3 people that died that day and felt sad about it for about a week then everyone just start buying flags and crying about it like they were in there when it happend it just pisses me off.
