sry junket, maybe i shouldnt have said it like that but i will never have any tolerance for people that just want to make trouble and especially wen it comes to doing stuff like wearing afghan colors. And i do respect people that voice their opinions when it comes to religion or a strong belief but not like what tippy was doin cuz he was just tryin to make people mad

Amen, Torpeto......America DID have it coming. Even I can say that- Americans have always had this attitude of "we're invincible...they can't touch us" and they did. We needed 9/11 to remind us that we are not perfect and as isolated as we are taught to think we are. THAT'S the reason people hate us around the world- because we think we're all that. Sure, we ARE all that- but to an extent. America just needs to show the world that we have faults too, just like everyone else...

You claim to stand for unhindered freedom. So why should those with different opinions be shot? Because you DON'T support freedom. You support totalitanarism.

So anyway, its good to see that there are at least a few people that agree with me, but many of you I have already addressed in my last rant. Like I said, I really do appreciate freedom, the kind I could just as easily have in Canada, Australia, or most of Europe. But freedom is easily traded in by those who either refuse it, or are incapable of determining their own destinies. To have freedom we must not, even once, let it go for a minute, because soon we will forget where we left it. Is it freedom you have, or merely an illusion?

And why would I want to go to Israel? I clearly said Switzerland, land of chocolate, mountains, marijuana and socialized medicine. And no, I'm not a pothead.

Okay, Inferno/bob, so you really want to go? Is that it? Did you really want to incur some top of the line wrath by by insisting I am somehow puke-worthy? Did you ever stop to read my posts? Did you ever stop to consider I might be right? No, of course not. And this is why:

Inferno- According to your profile, you're what, 14? I'm not saying that you couldn't possibly know about the world, but I am saying it is blatanly obvious you don't. Your arguements (using the loosest defenition possibl) mostly consist of bright colors, death threats, and shouting GOD BLESS AMERICA. I should suggest that you A) take even basic history/economics classes, B) Listen to someone other than Bush and your obviously dangerously right wing parents, or C) shut the hell up, since you obviously have nothing to say or contribute. You took a rememberence thread where we were sharing opinions into a smoldering pit of hate. YOU are the only one "puke-worthy" here. While insisting you love freedom you try to crush mine, an act that basically equates to you taking a giant steaming crap on the first ammmendment.

Bob- Are you a hick or just stupid? Really, I can't put it anymore simply. Why would you insist I be kicked out of the country? Because I have opinions? Do I challenge the status quo? Do I perhaps arouse the deepest parts of your subconcious, stirring up the basic fears that influence your every thought? Is your mind in pain as you consider that, just maybe, the world isn't as perfect as you thought?

EVERYONE- Why would you believe America is so great? I'm not saying it isn't. In fact, it is, at very least, top five. A fairly strong economy, freedom, it has so much to offer. Yet, much is squandered. The masses are blind to the puppet masters that move us like pawns across the board, being slowly pushed onward to our deaths. We are manipulated. We are becoming nothing but marrionettes made of flesh and bone! I love my country, yet despise my government. Lies, deceipt, half truths, and cover ups: These are all reasons to not trust old men so far away. Area 51, the Kennedy Assasination, The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution, the Manhattan Project, Star Wars System, Special Forces, covert ops, stealth bombers, military coupes; why would you take anything at face value, including your own freedom. Because how free are you really? The news can be censored, the internet monitored, your house seen into from satellites. People can disappear, have "accidents," or simply removed. You want ice cream- 32 flavors. Presidential candidates- 2. Perhaps no one can see through the illusion of freedom. Or perhaps I'm wrong. But if you can't intelligently argue, please don't waste my time by having me removed from forums or countries, because as long as thought exists, someone will use it. And as long as someone thinks, freedom will survive.

This is a war of jelousy, terrorist and such are just jelous that we are they way we are and got their by maybe stepping on a few toes. Our country is at the top right now and eventually it will fall like the Greeks, Romans, and Eqyptians did. So, doing stuff like what was done on 9/11 only slows down natural proggression and our eventual demise because it brings us together closer for even the shortest period of time. If they were smart they should have left us alone. 2,000+ people is a big loss and its unfortunate and sad. I love my country and apparently so do the millions of people waiting for their greencard. I don't see a million people trying to gain citizenship in Afganistan or Pakistan. You wouldent have what you do today if you wern't living in America. I don't care what you say, you should be thankfull to live here. I guess no one ever told you not to bite the hand that feeds you. Sure, our goverment is currupt but they all are, we just happen to be the best working currupt goverment at the moment. Thats something you should be proud of. The federal goverment dosent care about a single solitary person, its not their job. So, if we lose a few people they couldent care less. They arn't watching out for that one person getting shot, they are watching out for those 40 million people that would be dead in a nuclear attack. Luckily, they have been doing there job because we havent been hit yet. *Knock on Wood* Freedom is as good as it gets, any more and we would have nothig but anarchy and idiots. I'll take my freedom illusion as long as I get my paycheck for my work, live comfortable from it till I die, can get married, and can go out to the range and shoot the hell out of a John Dilinger Silhouette with atleast a .22. Oh, and just remember that regular people like you and me set up this goverment so it cant be any better then the best person here in 1776.

Let's squash the urban mythology right here:

USA helps out so many countries: Not really. Sure, there are US based organizations that raise valuable funds for third world citizens (The Christian Childeren's Association comes to mind- even if they are a lot less 'non-profit' than they will ever admit), but USA as a country does diddly jack to solve REAL foriegn problems. The only places we've been in the last few decades were to protect US interests (read: OIL). Even now, with our 'WAR ON TERROR'- we've not left, nor do we plan to leave, the middle east. It's really sad. There are rogue sinpers and barrels of terrorist organizations trying to gain control of places like Bosnia and Serajevo. The Irish are still being terrorized by the IRA (No, it's not a tax function- it's the Irish Republican Army, a Catholic terrorist organization who goes so far as to target and murder Christian Protestants and anyone else they deem to be 'heathens'). The government especially wants to keep this out of the press because it might shatter the angelic vissage of the Christian Church- the notion that the only holy wars are fought in the middle east by the denziens of Allah. Not true. If you think the American government doesn't have it's hand up the collective asses of the so-called 'American News Media' (Fox, CNN, ABC, MSNBC, etc.)- you're nieve and sorely mistaken. I reccomend for this ailment a solid dose of both www.bbcnews.com and www.indymedia.org to see all the things you've been missing out on the so called 'Central News Network': CNN.

So where is the US currently? Not in Bosnia. Not in Serajevo. Not in Ireland. Simply put: they're where the oil is.

Given that: How can you say I must be thankful for everything my country does? If I kill a man on the street and give you his money- should you be thankful? That's basically what we do in Iraq. It is because we condone (make no bones about it- we put on our game face, but we do not intend to take down Sadaam Husein or the Iraqi government as long as he slips us that lovely Texas Tea under the table) the terrible squealching of wealth and natural resources in Iraq/Saudi Arabia that their low class citizens suffer and become impoverished. When I say suffer- I don't mean merely that they're hungry or starving- They are dying, much like the rest of the impoverished nations in the middle east who we sap for natural resources. And as if that's not enough, we're flying butterfinger bombers over their countries scouring for terrorists- blowing up anything with a beard and a turban- looking for needles in a haystack that may not even exist. We're effectively terrorizing their people. Yet still, we hold our heads high as if we're solving problems.

Well, we are. We're solving our own problems- and creating twice the trouble for anyone else who is greedy enough to suc***b to US economic politics. You say you're so thankfull for ****ing computers and keyboards and superficial **** like that- and you are, and I am, but halfway around the world- people are thankfull to live and nothing more, just so we can sustain a stable economy.

In truth- ours is not even the best economy like we make it out to be. Sure, symbolically it is the first real capitalism- but Socialist countries have a much higher standard of living, AND they don't have to terrorize other nations to do it. They're making a ****ing omlet- and they're not breaking eggs to do it. Beyond that- America isn't even the easiest place to start a thriving buisness. Economic experts say that Hong Kong is- and they're right. It's not thanks to capitalism, either. Mind you, they have to deal with the Chinese Communism. There are others- but Hong Kong is a predominant example.

How is it that a country can be so much better off, and not be a superpower? Gee whiz, Batman, maybe an all out capitalism ISN'T the way to go!
