****ing itunes help
i just spent an hour dragging all of the songs from an ipod onto itunes by showing the hidden folder on the conponent in itunes. then the music folder showed up and i dragged all of the songs into the library.
now the music only plays when the ipod is plugged in, it doesn't play on its own...
what did i do wrong?

umm my guess is the music isnt on the computer duh
all you did was tell it the files where on the ipod

open up the ipod (by using windows silly!) and select all the songs. Now copy, and paste into the folder itunes is using. This should put the files onto the comp. I don't know of any other ways b/c i've never had the bad luck of haveing to do it as u are now.

get ephpod, it will automatically take all the songs from the ipod and put them intoa folder on ur comp

I really really really hope you didn't pull the songs to iTunes one by one. When you could have just selected all of them and moved them together.

if the music wasnt burnt on the ipod from tht computer than it wont let u add them. trust me i had 2 learn it this way 2

i use ipod agent, but yes, you could ahve selected all of the songs and dragged all of them

Dell DJ20. Yeah. Easier, and I could probably run it over with a car with no ill effects. Full aluminum case. Thats all I'll say.
