Dude that is horrible. It sucks when you die from a simple bee sting. I think it would have been more wise of him to call 911 when the shot didn't work though.

I am allergic to bees, but not much. The place where I get stung just puffs up really big, all I have to do is put ice on it and take some pill and I'm fine, nothing fatal.
Sucks to hear about your coach dude.

I'm like deathly afraid of bees sometimes, but not others.
Like 2 summers ago I spent a month bailing 50 year old hay out of an old ass barn and every 5 mins my cousin and I would upset a bee nest in the hay and we would get stung like a *****. It definatly sucked.
Sorry to hear about your couch tho, it's a sad story

One night while training repelling(fire dept) They sent 2 people over, and they hit a hornets nest. one person there was allergic to bee's so he ran into a vehicle and locked 2 people out, needless to say they got stung 30 times, and the 2 people over the hill repelling got stund 56 and 62 times. They spent a few in the hospital.
RIP

I don't know why, but for some reason I have always had a real bad phobia about bees. I remember when a bee flew into a car I was riding in. I lept out, while we were doing about 55 MPH. Broke my leg, a rib, and a few fingers. I know its stupid it is just something almost uncontrollable. Just seeing pictures of bees on a TV show, I will break out in sweats, start hyperventilating and feel shooting pains in my hands and feet.

Sucks to hear about that.
As for bees and the like, I hate them all. I'm afraid of them like seriously. I'll leave a room or find another way around instead of trying to deal with even one of them.
I have a little bit of a tolerance for those giant carpenter bees and a little less for honey bees...provided they're outdoors. Mostly because they always seemed more calm, as opposed to wasps and stuff that are just complete bastards.
I always seem to spot their nests too. There's what has to be a giant one burrowed in my front yard...those little yellow jacket things. I hate those things.
