Yea. I'm about to get a cell and was wondering about ordering off the internet. I'm going with Verizon since they're about the only company to get a signal around here. Anyway, the phone I want in the store is $215 after a $50 mail in rebate, and we all know how much fun those are. On Verizon's website they have the phone for $150. Would they accept debit cards as payment? Are there any disadvantages to ordering online?

Here is the phone I want. Any other suggestions?

they should take debit cards as payment online and the only disadvantage i would see from ordering online would be waitin for it to ship and be delivered

It said it should only take 3-5 days. I can wait 3 days to save $75. It may take awile since the hurricane though. I have had work shoes in the mail for about two weeks when they were only supposed to take a few days. They were coming from Atlanta I believe.

Razors are 200 with a 2 year contract. But as far as I know the only carriers that have them are Cingular and Tmobile.

My friend bought one and it is nothing special at all, overpriced imo. But it is very light and thin.

Im thinking of switching to verizon soon, I have cingualr right now and I hate it.

I had cingular last year and hated it. I switched to verizon and its the best thing i have ever done. I get recpetion in places that i would never get any with cingular.

well i have tmobile and like it so im renewing the contract anywayss, and i decided im gonna buy the $199 raz v3.......the new one, in black........im going to go to a tmobile stre tom. or the next day.......jobs are nice

I have a nokia 6255i and it rocks. no need to download ringtones or anything, u can put em on ur phone from your computer. u can put a memory card in it, they make up to 1 GIG cards. mp3 player, u can put music videos/other videos on it (and when u convert them it makes them smaller than mp3s), camera/video, awesome phone I love it

get the LG VX8000

sucker is awsome, has a 1.3 megapixal camera and a video camera plus you can watch streaming video's

A little expensive though, I paid over $300 for mine.

Thats good, I dont even get reception in my house with cingular. I have to wait about 2 more weeks before my contract expires.

Whats why I switched. I go to school in the middle of nowhere in NH and I get great reception, same with the drive up here. I also get service when I go skiing up near Canada, several places in VT, and a vaction house we have near Killington. Verizon totally owns anyone else for extended networks as far as im concerned.

razors probably wont be out for verizon till mid winter. Verizon has the best reception but has crappy customer service, fugly phones, and worse policies.

Exactly, Verizon works everywhere, but their phone selection is pretty bad and they really suck to deal with. We have atleast 15 phones and even for buisnesses they arn't very helpful. One thing that really bothers me is they are one of the few companies that don't use a simm chip, so if (when) the phone breaks you lose all your contacts, pictures, messages, ect.

save $100 bucks and go with the vx7000, the same camera and video cam, intraweb, all that good stuffs, but no mp3 listenin

and its so much smaller!

Everyone and thier pet's uncle has that phone.

Besides, the camera on the 8000 is like 5x better.
