Ok so i walk my dog, as soon as i walk in the house the electric turns off. so i yell "****" cause only my brother was home. my dad and mom were at backt o school night at my school. so i walk outside to see whats going on, a few people's electric is out. no big deal.

so then i see flickering light, and i walk by my neighbors house to the left of me. i walk further towards the fence and the power line fell and started an electrical fire on her garden. so i see her run by and told her to call the fire dept. and we got her son and went next door. so i got my cat and dog and put them in a room together incase we had to evacuate. so i call my dad, he doesnt pick up. then like 4 police cars and fire chief trucks come to the house.

so they come over, then like 4 firetrucks come, and a few more police cars. at this point the entire neigborhood is in front of my house watching from a distance what the hell is going on.

so i took some pics and a video of it on my camera. ill put them up soon. it wasnt a big fire, but we are SO lucky the wire only landed in the dirt.

they put the fire out by shutting off the electric, but somehow it turned the electric off for almost the whole town lol. but it came back on 5 minutes later. the fire eventually went out, and they fixed it and now im here typing it. sucks cause they wouldnt let me back into my house until the fire was dead and it started at 720 and ended at 930... so i have a buttload of HW to do.

yeah my first reaction was 'holy **** this is gonna get bigger.' i was terrified it would ignite the tree that was about a foot from the fire and spread to my backyard. if you saw the fire you'd be like 'so whats the bigdeal?' but im lucky it didnt get any worse than it was.

and to top it off, the transformer that blew and made the fire fall also blew during the summer during a bad rainstorm. basically what happened was, the electric company went to fix it, didnt put the wire on tight enough so it fell cause it was windy tonight. and to top it off even more, they were supposed to come back a few times to check on it, but they never came. so my neighbor might get a lawyer.

Yeah we got that windstorm too. We had some good gusts.

In school, all the 3rd floor math teachers keep their windors and doors open, so when you go to the hallway its likea giant wind tunnel.

lol yeah that happens in the science wing cause its all windows.

funny story- i threw a pack of gum out the 2nd story science wing into the courtyard. so me and my friend go to find it, and its all moldy and **** cause its been sitting there all week and it rained like 2 days hehe.

Heres a window story for ya..

This black kid in my class, the funniest kid evar (my school is like 95% asian, 4.9% white, .1% black)

So he's in math class in the 4th floor, and some kids are throwing stuff out the window.

He takes a full 20 ounce water bottle and guns it at this chicks head, hits her in the side of the head, and she's out cold. She almost died.

It was kinda sad to see her get hit, but it was such a snipe.

The wind almost blew over a huge ass tree that was in my yard this afternoon it was crazy, and my school sucks it only has 1 floor

i know how u feel ja...when i was about 10..we were in denver at my step-uncles house, and behind the housing area there's this huge area of open grass..and some (stupid) people were lighting fireworks (it was like july 10th or so by now) and one of them caught the (dead) grass on fire and everyone nearby had to evacuate because the whole grass area caught on fire...1 house was partially burned and 1 shed was completely burned...scary cuz i was only 10...=\

I hate when weird things like that happen near your house. A green mini van and a red mustang collided across the street and the mustang ended up in my yard.Both girls in the mustang were seriously hurt. I was afraid the van was gonna burst into flames because this white smokey stuff was coming out pretty thick. I called 911 and brought out towels because both the girls heads were bleeding pretty bad. No airbag. Took 15 minutes to get a freakin ambulance and it was me,my dad and my neighbor (whos in his 60s) helping out..

I learned that I don't want to be an EMT or anything when I get older.
