ok well today im playing my first soccer game... yes really late in the season becuz of well... i have my reasons.. but anyway im playing goaly and nervous as ****.. i need helps and tips!! anything helps plz my game begins in like an hour need help fast!

keep checking behind u so that u can always see where the goal is in relation to your body, don't be scared to run out and slide-tackle the guy to get the ball....and when u run out to attack make sure that u don't jump bc they can kick it right under u....

keep your arms out and ready and always stay on your feet

Challenge the ball to cut down the angle on the net.So they have less places to shoot.

dont be scared like shocker said... always tell people where to go(i.e. on free kicks and corner kicks) if your going to come out keep going dont stop, always look for open oppentents to tell people to mark up on, play the angle(make the opponent take the toughest shoot possible) catch the ball dont knock it down and just have fun...

Dont be afraid to take the ball no matter what. Once you commit to taking it dont let ANYONE get in your way. Ive seen plenty of goalies send people to the hospital trying to get to the ball.

very true. some times defenders tend to get lazy and stay back. this leaves the midfielders and forwards alone with no support from behind, so get your defense up there. also, as goalie, you probably have the best overall view of the field and it is your job to command everyone around. talk to your team and let them no what needs to be done.

be th eyes of the defence let them know where you need them to be on corners, and fouls. other than that I dunno much abotu goal. I could get you hooked up with my friend who played goal in collage..
