hey guys. im askin the help of really neone whos ever moved from a place that they lived for a long time.

well i lived in manhattan, ks for 10 years (till i was 13). and i moved to salina ks. 2 years ago. i barley ever get to see my friends anymore from manhattan. and i havent seen them in about 3 months. this really sucks cuz....well i grew up with these guys. they know everything about me and i know everything about them. they were my life u know? the kinda friends that u dont just stumble onto. we built up a friendship. and its the best one ive ever had or will have.

but my problem is my parents never take me back to see them. they are always too busy, i was really hopin i could c them while i was between sports and nothin was goin on. and i was gonna. i got up early and everything (6) and wen i went upstairs my mom goes "we rnt goin...thers too much work to do here" you wanna know what we did? ****in nothing! my mom didnt even work she just sat around and we cleaned the house a little. im ****in pissed and depressed like 10 different ways. how can i get them to let me go c my friends? i miss everyone from my old town and my parents just dont get it!

and please. dont even begin with callin me emo u can just stfu if u are

i know how you feel man..i lived in washington for 6 years...built up 4-5 really good friendships...now i live in georgia (moved here 4 months ago)...i really really miss it, but i talk to them on a regular basis on xbox live, aim, and on the phone..talk to them online and on the phone more, it will fill the void...once you get your license you'll be able to go see them more often..and if they dont let you that would suck a lot...i feel you though man...at least you live somewhat near them...the nearest friend to me is in vegas..the rest in washington

damn man, sry to hear that...thats gotta be ****ty. what you should do with ur friends is like road trip.......or agree to meet at a camp ground and just **** around for a week or so........some of my best times were campin in arkansas with my friends from manhattan this summer. i think next summer we might try to drive down there ourselves and kick it. thatd be off the hook. thanks for feelin for me bro. best of luck.

well we always meet back up every summer in our hometown to hang out for a month and go camping for a weekend..started 3 years ago when our friend paul moved to vegas..now ive moved...this summer it might be different though..

yea its hard to get stuff worked out. dont give up on it though. i thnk thatd be the worst thing to happen is to lose connection to your best friends

talk about a culture shock moving from washington to georgia...wow it hit me hard lol..living in washington i was used to seeing a good amount of asian people..and there are none here..like..ive seen 2...its weird...but yeah..dont lose connection with your best friends, because then who has your back? you will always be able to talk with them

I lived in Saint Joesph, MI for 6 Years and now I live in Newaygo, MI I mean I have friends but I still miss them all like everyone was my friend and ya. But that is 6-7 Hours from my house and I go there like 1 time every 2 years. And my dad won't let me download AIM and I lost there phonenumbers in a house fire.
