i mean the face.

anyone have any good tips i should consider when i shave? i know how to shave and i usually shave fine, but i was just wondering if theres something i should do when i shave that would make it better. i mean preperation, i use pre-shave and after shave, but is there anything else i should do?

uhh ja...use neutragina(sp) for men for ur face wash...it def works...makes ur hair soft b4 shaving and makes it less prone to cuts and bumps

My facial hair looked (and still does, kind of) really bad for a long time. Some people still absolutely loved it, though. I've grown attatched to having a beard though, now, and don't see myself shaving any time soon.

dont shave the grain regularly, it may shave closer but it will create a lot of skin problems and ingrown hairs. i would use an electronic razor but they dont shave as close.

i shave about every 3-4 days. and i wait so long simply because i dont want to irritate my skin.

I usually have to shave twice a day. I have been shaving for 16 years and never heard of "preshave". All I do is while I am in the shower, put on shaving cream and shave with my razor (A non-vibrating Mach III). Don't have any shaving "rituals" or need excessive crap to go along with it. I hate electric razors just because they don't get that close.

Shaving right after you take a shower is teh best time for it. I used to use a mach 3, but it was too close of a shave, I like a tiny bit of stubble, so I switched to some cheap plastic razors. Use geleete sensitive skin stuff or something like that.

I dont really see a point to all that pre-shave after shave crap. All I use is a little mousturizer in the winter when my face might dry up a bit.

I usually wash my face first (cuz i usually shave in the shower). then use whatever shaving cream/gel I have. I havent found any particular kind/brand that works better or worse than any other. I use a Schick Quattro (the Mach 3 is a little better I think, mainly cuz i would use the razors too long and the quattro would irritate my skin more), and go against the grain. I then use some Gillette gel aftershave, makes my face nice n cool

I've been using one of those sensor Mach 3's for a year now, and I like it a lot. Only replaced the battery once.. While I think the whole vibrating thing is just a marketing ploy, its a damn good shave.

If you've really got a lot of whiskers going on, shave with the grain first, then clean up going against it. With my razor, I tilt it so its almost parallel to my face sometimes
