odd coincidence involving a man being killed by wolves
So I get on this train yesterday coming home from a visit with my brother. And me and these two girls and a guy get moved to another car and sit in one of the group sections with seats facing eachother.. so we start talking and I ask the guy what hes doing in oshawa and he tells me he was just at a funeral.. I say ah man, ****ty, howd the guy die? then he tells me he was attacked by wolves..
Get this.. this wolf attack is the same wolf attack thats been pretty publicized in Canada the past week.. all in newspapers, tv and internet...

Itd be the first death by wolves in over a century.. And it happend out in northern saskatewan, which if any one knows Canadian geography is no where near me in south western ontario
just thought the chances of meeting some one who actually knew this guy and was friends with em was really weird.
Kinda sucks though, the guy and the one girl were really cool and i was really enjoying talking to em.. but we ended up going onto different trains in toronto.. So I left and went to go on my train home and Im walking down the car to find a seat, and theres this guy thats in my grade at my school that takes my bus. was wierd. so I sat with him.

yep, and they want to introduce wolves back into NY and a bunch of other places down here, along with mountain lions, one of the few animals who actually hunt humans on a regular basis. mmm stupid people

Sucks... but I will say that wolves are pretty cool animals. I've seen two, once was a long time ago so I don't remember it that well, and another was over the summer and I actually got a decent look at it, cool animals. And hearing a pack of wolves howl when you're out in the middle of nowhere in otherwise silence... possibly the coolest thing that I have experienced, it was amazing.

thats really weird, but kind of cool in a way... i have some similar stories, but i cant think of them at the moment.. hopefully they will hit me soon..

Man that's weird wolves usually don't go for the kill on humans, that really sucks.

it is a small world... sittin_duk and i have a mutual friend and team sandbox plays at a field near where i used to live.
for some reason, i prefer big dogs to tiny ones. i'd rather have a husky than a terrier.

um, I caught the train in oshawa at about 4.20-4.30pm and then had to switch trains in toronto at about.. 7pm
