I can’t stand it anymore. It use to be funny. I'm not talking about the show; I'm talking about the merchandise and how people over use it now. I cant tell you how many times I have walked into the mall, saw one of those stands that sell shirts, And see stewie on almost EVERY shirt.
Yesterday I walked over to 7-11 to pick up some milk considering it was the only store open. I walked in and the guy behind the counter is wearing a stewie shirt that says "There’s something in my diaper and it’s not a toaster." I mean come on, that’s not even funny. The humor just totally died. It’s so overused now.
It use to be funny when you had stewies head on a shirt surrounded by flames that said "Go to hell". That was somewhat funny. My friend use to wear that shirt. But now since everyone has the same EXACT shirt pretty much everywhere, he stopped wearing it.
The show is still funny and it gets funnier through out every episode and season. I don’t know how Seth McFarlane does it but he just never fails at being funny.
Seriously though, the family guy thing has turned into a friggin fad now. It was like skateboarding, at first it was fun, then it hit MTV and became "Cool". I stopped it and just started free running. I swear if Parkour turns into something like family guy then ill have to go to MTV headquarters’ and shoot every last mother ****er in there.
I blame TV for all of this, and not just any TV, MTV...Yea, I know, that was cheesy. It's true though
. MTV turns everything fun, into a piece of **** that everyone has to do or else they suffer the consequences of not being cool...
