Alright. More problems with the same girl I talked about on the last page.

So she breaks up with her boyfriend again, this time it's for good, because she doesn't think he cares about her anymore (and she's probably right). The next day, she's flirting with one of my best friends who is about to date this other chick, but he kind of plays along. I offer to drive my buddy home because I need to talk to him about the girl, but the girl wants to come with us. So I tell her that we really need to be alone, she doesn't understand it.

She exits the restaurant we're in, crying. So I go to her car and try to talk to her, and she's all like, "nobody ever wants me around, nobody cares about me... blah blah blah" I console her, she stops crying, she says I'm the only person that ever cares about her.

That next day we hang out, she is still obsessed with my bud who is kind of leading her on, almost to a point that it's sad. He tells her that he's not interested that night, and immediately after that tells her that I have feelings for her.

So I'm like, screwed, because now it seems like every act of kindness, every late night phone conversation, every time she's cried on my shoulder, all that crap, was just a show, hidden behind my selfish alternative motives of wanting to date her. Which are not the case, I would do that for anybody, she just needed love the most.

We've talked since then, but it's obvious that things just aren't the same anymore. I almost despise my friend for ruining this for me, but I can't hate him because he's one of my closest buds.

The whole situation is overall gay. It wouldn't be nearly as bad, but she's still recovering from ending a two year relationship and being crushed by a guy she was obsessed with. Had it been any other circumstances, she knowing that I had feelings for her wouldn't matter, but she hasn't had nearly enough time to heal from those. Now instead of being there for her to help her pick up the pieces that are broken, I'm suddenly part of the puzzle. Anybody know how to come out of this and redeem myself to the girl? Fast responses would be nice, I want to patch it up tomorrow.

Well, that's true. You did do all of those things out of self interest. We always do things out of self interest.

And just go with the flow and do what you think is best. And don't worry about how it turns out, since we learn from our mistakes. Everything always works out eventually, and if it doesn't, you'll eventually die. And from what I've gathered, you can't worry when you're dead.

Weird situation.
Ok, so I was at the fair like 4 months ago, and I saw a friend of mine (a girl who i have know for all of my life, like my sister[we'll call her Rachel]) with her friends. Apparently, one of her friends, saw me, and though i was hot. So, 4 months later Rachel tells me "you remember [insert girl who thought i was hot's name here]? well, she thinks you are hot!" so, being me i crack jokes about it (i obviously think its just some nerd (as rachel is kinda nerdy)) and let it go. Later i find out that the girl who liked me, is hot! So, now, i cant just go, "well, i changed my mind i like her." Cause i made fun of her with Rachel. Rachel didn't tell her obviously, but if i ever want to talk to her, i would need to do it through Rachel as i don't have her # or aim. If i just asked friend for the girls SN or # it would be...weird as i cracked jokes about it. Any ideas of how to fix it?

Just straight up ask for it, and if she asks, just say you want to get the know the chick.

havoc, just straight up ask her.. its not a big deal, if this rachel asks why you're asking all the sudden, tell her the truth. just say she's actually good looking.

Alright, here goes nothing.

So school starts up Monday, which means new freshman chicks. Since we (band) rehearse before school starts, I've seen this one chick that kinda caught my eye. Do you guys think it would be weird if I were to try and date a freshman with me being a junior?

It wouldn't to me.

But for a lot of people it would. Around here the seniors always date the freshmen. And alot of times the people who graduated the year before will date the freshmen. So it really depends on the area you live in. Here it is acceptable, but a few counties over, they think it is absolutely horrible.

Ha I'm still trying to figure something out like that. I'm a senior, and I see a ton of new hot freshmen and sophomores. The gap between a 14/15 year old and a 18 year old is huge, especially in maturity. So I'm not sure if I should feel horrible about doing something like that or not :/

I'm still not sure where I stand on it, haha. In February, I'll be 18 and some girls are only like 14 and 15, and idk. It's weird, I kind feel like I'm stooping down a level because I can't find somebody my own age. Like settling for less or something, which I'm really not.
