ok well first ill give some background info...

two years ago (8th grade football season...2004), i was quarter back. well i was passing the ball wen one of my linemen missed his block. probably one of the only ones he missed all year too. well the kid came to tackle me from my blind side and his helmet drilled the inside of my elbow, the pointy bone on the inside, my entire arm instantly went numb and hurt worse than any pain ive ever experienced in my life. i stayed till the game was over and afterwards went to the hospital cuz i was on the verge of tears and (although it sounds stereotypical of men) i dont like to show pain. well yea......they x-rayed it and found out that bone was indeed basically split in half. well after 3 weeks in a cast every little touch of my elbow would make it go insane with pain. just horrible put me on the ground pain. and its gotten a little bit better but still not healed. if i fall on it or hit it hard enough id paralyze my arm from the elbow down.

today......

we were workin out at the YMCA today and my friend farted... so i doorknobed him and punched him once in the arm. well he went to punch me in the arm and i turned, well this caused him to drill my right in my elbow (the nerve runs down the little gap between the pointy bone in ur arm and ur other bone). i havent felt this kinda pain since i broke it. the pain is not going away.

what is stronger than ibuprofen that i can take???? i took 4 ibuprofen about an hour and a half ago. so im kinda spacin....but its not helpin the pain.

o yea and i have surgrey on itthe monday after spring break. ill make sure to get u guys some pics.

try 2 Aleve, twice a day for 5-7 days.

i had hyrocodeene (SP) a long time ago but of course thati s bye-bye now...that was my freakin happy drug man. wish i could get some now soooooo good

the most powerful drug is your mind. nothing i have ever taken (except opium, which is unbeatable) has been able to suppress pain like some good mind over matter. just tell yourself the pain doesnt bother you, it is merely a comforting warm sensation, and after a few minutes thats what it will feel like. you cant just tell yourself though, you have to CONVINCE yourself

Just don't let the pain overwhelm you. It may hurt like hell but you're still alive and concious. Even though this is very easy for me to say..but wait it out and focus on other things.

This is true. It's kinda how I got over my fear of needles. I just made myself realize there is barely any pain to it, it's just the fact that a needle is scary looking and it goes inside you. The pain is not any worse than something average you feel every day.

lol i thought i was the only one. I have a mortal fear of needles, but mine is because when i was little i had to get stitches on my foot so they tried to numb it and it wouldn't go numb so i had to suffer through 13 stitches without any form of numbing... ever since i've been scared of needles. And clowns, but that is for a different reasons

damn man, no offense, but thats weak.. ive been getting shots without flinching since my memory begins. i dont like needles myself, but all it takes is some very simple thoughts of it being no big deal and youre good to go

yeh. I had my wisdom teeth out today and I had to get about 9 of them in my mouth. Just close your eyes and dont thin about it and you're all good.

Of course, the nitrous oxide helped a bit too....
