dont touch it! does leave their fawns in tall grass during the day and come back at night and get them. if you touch it then the doe might abandon it because of the scent

That picture looks like it was taken in the night. It is so cute. My sister's neighbor use to have a pet deer. It just came to there house one day from the wild. It would come up to everyone and let them pet it. They put an orange vest on it so hunters wouldn't shoot it.

There was a taxidermy shop in town that had a guy bring in a fawn whos mother he had shot. The place put up a fense and took care of it. The thing never came close to being calm and comfortable around humans. The only reason it would come close was to get food then it would run off. For a deer to just say dude...im gonna go chill with some humans is rediculous. One that was raised by humans has so much distrust but one in the wild would just love to come hang out.

i saw 2 baby racoons on the side of the road yesterday.. made me sad.. cuz i bet they were walking with the momma racoon when it happened.. sucks to be an animal sometimes.

Sorry for the hijack, but this teacher (Back in Vermont, of course), was supposably seen out in a field, having a go with a sheep. Now when people go into his class, they always say "Ha a a r r r v v y y ", like with a sheep accent. Nowhere else but vermont.
