Adobe Illustrator & Vector Images
Does anyone have experience with Illustrator or vector images in general? I really could use some help. I've got some artwork for a box, and it's about 30" x 30" or so (a bit less), but rasterized that works out to approximately 250MB...huge. So vector looks like the way to go, but I have no experience with that.
Can I easily convert a rasterized image (or a PSD image) to a vector image? (I doubt it)
If not, is anyone willing to re-do this rasterized image as a vector image? I'll pay you.

If you have Illustrator CS2, it's should be fairly straight forward, as long as the image isn't too complicated.
You could either trace the raster image or use live trace. If you give me the image, I'll see what I can do. No charge...

All right, thanks. I may need you to look at it, I may not. It depends on a couple of things, but I'll definitely PM you if I need some help. Thanks.

Actually, there's an Adobe program that's just for turning rastor images into vector art. It's called Adobe Streamline. It takes some getting used to, but it has all sorts of options and tweaks so you can get it just how you need it.
I'm not sure if they really sell it any more, but it can easily be, well let's just say, "found" online. The most recent version, to my knowledge, is Streamline 4.
