Scientology scares the crap out of me...
In the words of the greatest song writer/vocalist of all time: "**** L. Ron Hubbbard and **** all his clones."

Found this on PBN...that's not cool...
**NOT A RELIGIOUS DEBATE! IF YOU WANT TO FIGHT ABOUT THAT, MAKE YOUR OWN THREAD! THIS IS ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY ONLY!**

I had a thread about scientology about 2 months ago. Search it, there's a REALLY good article about the whole thing.

Link to NYY's article: http://www.rickross.com/reference/sc.../scien413.html
^^The guy in the article is also mentioned in the video. His parents DID end up suing the church and settled for an undisclosed amount out of court.

Thanks for warning me of the incredibly hot dead babe in that thing. Now I'm going to be seeing her face for weeks.

How can anyone respect a religion that isn't mysterious in origins?
I mean, this crockpot of a faith was started by some guy who wanted money, not a Moses or Jesus figure...

We knew so little about these people, and we're not really sure if they even really existed.
There's a certain mysticism about Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The origins are old, murky, and uncertain. The known origins are a testament to what modern day religion is, a faith in a higher power that needs no reasoning or explanation, it just is.
It seems hard to carry over these same mystical and unknown concepts to a "religion" that was started by one single man in the 20th century.
shot, don't take my words so damn literally next time,

No seriously this cult is fuuuucked up. I searched on Wikipedia, and the explanation as to how we got here is that some alien guy was president over the Galatic Confederacy or something, then they paralyzed the excess human beings from all the planets, brought them to earth on freaking AIR PLANES, put them in volcanoes, lowered hydrogen bombs into them, and blew them up. That is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard in my life.

It was founded by a guy who said that the best way to make money is to form a cult.
"Nuff said."

ITs not a religion. Its a scam.
I just did some research. Their religion is based on an evil lord xanu, ruler of the galactic federation or whatever. He took all aliens, froze them and dumped them into volcanoes on earth. Then the alien spirits went into humans and thats how we have pain and suffering.
