East Coast PBFers! Lend me your ears!
[/Shakespeare]
I'm leaving on monday. I'm coming down the east coast via 95... Me, my uncle, and my older brother.
What are some things we can do along the way?
The destination is Key West. We're planning on getting our PADI OW Certification (basic Scuba license).
If I like it enough I may decide to dive with the New England Aquarium doing research and other cool ****.
I just cant wait to sit on a beach watching the sunset with a nice jay.
Key west is another country by the way. They declared independance and are now the Conch Republic. They voted to keep all the same rules and regulations and laws that the gov't passes though.

no offense, but MB is way overrated, just like VB (virginia beach) is. It's a ****ing beach for gods sake.......so what, it's got water, sharks, and beach....whoopie ****ing do. REally if you've seen one beach you've seen them all....unless, you go far, far south ( like sam is) and then you'll see a reall beach with palm trees literally on the beach....there's nothing like it....

Yeah dude, I've been certified for SCUBA for about 2 or 3 years now, and its amazing. Its like a whole different world underwater. When you do go, make sure you take your time as you swim around and enjoy the small things. My dad has been diving for about 15 years or so now and so when we go we just go really slow and hes taught me how to notice the small little things. When you go slow you also notice things you wouldn't had you been swimming faster. We were diving in the Bahamas and the guide was just like whizzing around with everyone else so my dad and I just took it slow and easy and I look under a shelf of coral the other divers passed by without looking and there was a nurse shark just chilling under there. Its an amazing feeling being within 10 feet of a shark. So just have fun and take your time.
If you pass through Key Largo they have a few amazing fish houses I'd stop by. I can't remember what its called though.

Yeah we'll definetly go through largo. We might dive out of there for a day just as a change of scenery... We'll be staying in Marathon for a week so if your going to be down there, let me know!
My Marine Biology instructor is a scientific diver.. Basicly the course he taught me last year turned me onto scuba for good. He told me when I'm at depth, to just close my eyes and listen...Since sound travels much more effeciently underwater, you can hear so much going on.

Baltimore, Maryland, has an amazing aquariam(Sp?) in the inner harbor.
Jerzey has a ton of things to do, but you'll stereotype it as a ****hole and probably just pass through.
