Yeah you probably have more knives than everyone here combined. I have 8 but they're all pretty much cheapos. But for me, as long as it's not falling apart and it's sharp it's "good enough." All I need is a pocket knife that gets the job done.

By the way Flash, you sound like the poster child for blade forums.

If you give me the one that is an auto blade and manual one, I'll give you one of my signature back rubs...

Only if by "back rub" you mean "handjob."

How much was that, and do you know where I can find one?

They're excellent. One of the best knives you can buy for the price, IMHO. So great in fact I bought 30 of them and had them laser engraved to give as gifts for the people that helped me with my eagle project.

That one I actually bought at a cheapo knife store in South Carolina since auto's are hard to get in NJ (Illegal). I actually bought it just because I knew what the action was and no one else did. The people behind the counter thought it was a regular tactical folder. You can find them all over the net though, just search for "Double action automatics."

I've got a few Case XX, my favorite was always the swing guards, like the Cheetah. People that collect case knives are probably the only thing keeping them in buisness, not to many people buy Case to use anymore. Not with the advent of tactical folders anyway. It's a shame, they make great pocket knives. The bullet knives are great to collect. If he has one of the original ones from 1982 it's worth $700, not bad for a $40 when new knife.

My knives work. i can't buy a blade and have it sit in a case. I can buy a gun like that but not a knife. I don't mind spending 150 or so on a blade as long as it gets good use. I misplaced my blade in the havoc of relocating from jrtc back to alaska. I don't know if I lost it on the jump or if its someplace in my ruck or kit. All I know is that I only using protech and my stoop down to use my old uzi blade...which is ass.

Just because it's smooth and doesn't have any side to side play doesn't mean it's a good knife.

Well... What makes a knife good? Im not much of a knife person, so that is an actual question. What more is their to be needed other than solid blade, sturdy built, opening/closing ability?
But if I do buy or get a knife, its always case. I have some that are really old, and my grandpa use to work with a knife that was worth several hundred in the coal mines. Of course he didnt know that when he was working with it lol. Oh yea, the reason I know it was worth that much is they had it in the smokey mountain knife shop in an case.
