Maybe I'm just pissed because I can't do it.. Teachers take role every period and send it in. So if you aren't there, the attendance people look it up and notify your parents if you aren't excused.

Plus my mom works at the school I go to.. so anytime I screw up, she hears about it literally minutes after it occurs.

Just go to class.

my school used to call home, but for some stupid reason they stopped. needless to say, they have the worst attendance policy ever. on top of tat, the gym teachers explained to us the loopholes basically in cutting. you cut 5 times this quarter? dont worry, all need is a parent to write it off. and what parent isnt going to write it off to preventtheir kid from getting dropped from a course? mostly none.

gym we're allowed 3 cuts and we fail on the 4th. why did they tell us that? no clue..

I don't cut, mainly because my parents would be called and there's nothing better for me to do (I can't drive yet). I guess after I get a car I might drive to lunch or something like that...

Actually, last year if you have 3 or fewer absences in a class and good enough grades you could be exempt from the final. They stopped that this year though, sucks..

I have never cut class. But I have just not shown up to school for no reason. Such as if I overslept, I would just miss the whole day. I had about 30 abs last year and about 48 tardys....

I don't think yall understand quite what's going on. He saw a presentation once, and because of the classes that he has the presentation in more than one class...the exact same presentation.

If I'm goin to skip, I just talk my parents into it. rule number one to breaking rules is to keep your parents as in the loop as possible. It makes them gain trust in you, and they'll let you do more things. Also, its so much nicer knowing that you can't get in trouble for what you're doing.

good lesson learned. when you move up in the world you realize no one cares if you do it...you just fail the course and loose all the money you put into it or your free ride ect. Or say you somehow find employment..your boss won't care he will just fire you. Might as well start doing the right thing now.

on a more serious note I used to be late for school every day back in the day...I had a study hall first period and just didn't see the point. Im not much a person to follow and hindsight is 20/20 so I can tell you that you might as well do things right...if you want out of class get some kind of appointment. Alot of people would have chiropractor appointments all the time. excused absence.

Yeah i've deffinitley learned my lesson

Among other things my parents are upset about, the worst thing is they think they can't trust me now.

Anytime I go anywhere (which for right now is only church) i need to have someone they know call them from my phone to vouch for whats happening and where we're at, and anytime I need to buy gas or something they expect a reciept and full change back. My dad says that trust takes a long time to build up, and it's easy to destroy all of it and start at square one by screwing up..

So I guess i'm at square one now
