my mri results
Medic will probably be the only one able to decipher this all without googling it
Conclusions:
1. Bone marrow high signal within the mid to distal calcaneus, the proximal medial aspect of the cuboid bone, the distal medial aspect of the talus and the anterior aspect of the distal tibia, all compatible with bone bruising/contusions given the recent date of injury.
2. Probable tearing of the anterior tibiofibular ligament and thickening of the anterior talofibular ligament, consistent with scar healing changes.
3. A congenital variant os tibiale externum adjacent to the navicular bone
so yeah, that's what happens when you get hit by a truck. I wore a shoe on it for the first time today, I've been wearing a cam walker since the accident. It felt weird to walk for awhile

you can see the calcaneus is the heel, the cuboid is in front of that, the talus is on top of them. so basically the calcaneus is bruised from the middle to the front (towards toes), the cuboid is bruised from the middle to the back, and the talus is bruised from the middle to the front. the tibia is bruised on the front, at the end of the bone (at the ankle, obviously).
here's what an "os tibiale externum" is
