is that a nice k98 or one of the late-war rifles? the late war rifles have stamped metal parts and the stock cap is screwed on instead of a compression fit. you can tell if you look at the mag. plate, itll have stamp marks on the outer edges if it is. if it doesnt, then i like it, i like it alot... is there cosmo on it? i was gonna say, have fun with that...lol

Eh crustybug, I'm not trying to be PC or anything, and I know the swastika goes with the gun, but have you ever thought that maybe it's in poor taste?
I know we have plenty of parents who visit the board, and I'm sure it wouldn't be very inviting to see a swastika associated with a paintball forum.
Just something to think about. Maybe you could change it to an iron cross or a German flag?

I know, I know. That was a little different though. I think it was easier to pick up that it was a joke, what with the hitler south park character and all. Still, it could've been misinterpreted, and Headley did change it for just that reason.

As I have always had to say to people, there is NOTHING wrong with late-war rifles until you reach the beginning of 1945. Sure, pre-war Mausers had a lot more time put into them, but NOTHING bad happened with the 43/44 K98s. There were no "last ditch" rifles as there were in mainland Japan. There were no K98s exploding when fired. The '45 produced rifles were generally of a bit poorer construction, but then again, so were late war Mosin Nagants. Nothing wrong with cutting corners on woodwork and stamping metal parts (in case you didn't know this, almost any modern firearm you shoot has stamped metal parts) to save time and get more rifles to the battlefront.

i spose... sry about that... id still love to own a k98 regardless. I could buy a deathhead SS rifle for the low price of $1500 i think ill stick with the generic infantry model, shoots just as good...
do you shoot the m44? I was thinkin of getting a carbine, but then when i saw the 91/30 i kinda like that a bit more, just not the price.

I shoot my M44 every weekend. 91/30s are not expensive either. I can think of numerous places where I could get one for under a hundred dollars.

ive shot both a K98 and a couple variations of the Mosin Nagant.
they're really fun rifles to just go shoot, specifically the M38-M44 cause the ammo is so cheap.
you should pick up an SKS, they're really cheap, like not even that much over 100 bux.
