well combined score 980.. i dont know really to tell you the truth i studied alot for it, i took like 30 practice tests (did 2 books with at least 15 tests in each one)
i expected myself to get around an 1150ish just becasue i was getting in the 600s on the verbal, and 500s in math
i dont really know what happened.. the 2nd time i took it just blew it off really because i was worried around that time about passing math and trying to keep all my grades up
i decided to take the ACT in october. i think i would have done better, but again i think there were some things that sort of 'flawed' how i could have really done. for example, the proctor sat me next to an area where i couldnt see a clock.. she never announced the start times or end times, and only told us when we had 5 minutes left. now that ruins alot of things, because i would have just skipped over certain questions had i known i had 5 minutes left and needed to get a section done. w/e.. then on top of that i had a pretty ****ty night from the sadie hawkins dance and was a bit hungover from the night before.
so im just done with standardized tests.. i have a pretty good transcript and resume i think, and my guidance counselor would have just blatantly told me 'take the sat you're not getting into college if yu dont get higher'

SUNY buffalo is a good school, and they're not big on SAT scores at all. It'll also be cheap for you because you're in state, and remember, you can always transfer later on after you narrow down your major.

What if you took economics? You can use economics in all three of those fields that you like. Check out the book Freakonomics.

Or if you decide to go to grad school or something.

actually i read Naked Economics.. really great book
infact i think you would find it pretty interested comrade
and i reccomend naked economics for anyone the least bit interested in economics. its a fun, easy read and uses real-life examples which makes it not just relevant, but more entertaining to read.
i actually just got back from school, i went to my guidance counselor and i think i will apply now.. my counselor has a program which like put you in a 'playing field' of othe rapplicant from your school.
so in 2005, only 4 kids applied there, 3 got in. they all had roughly an 83-85 average, and 1000-1050 SAT scores.
2006 2 kids applied, one got in same thing.
basically she said the reason the students with an 85, 1050 sat didnt get in was mostlylikely because of the classes they're taking. she said they definately consider the fact that you take college level classes (which is basically my schedule anyway)
