They stopped when lightning hit a tree that fell into their house a few months later.

I have this poor kid on my team, not like college kid poor, but actually his whole family lives in a one room house, no refrigerator, shower with a bucket poor. Their only income is when his mom goes and sells these necklaces at the farmers market.

I feel really bad for him.

yea, in truth though, its kind of like being the one smoker in a group of people who don't smoke. You get razzed for it by your friends and often they can't afford to do the simple things that you may suggest as something to do. ("anyone want to go to a movie?", "anyone want to eat off campus tonight?", ect.). Both make you feel bad sometimes.

I do that alot too. Like, if I really want to see a movie or go grab a bite to eat, i'll pay for a friend if they don't have $$$, just so they'll go with me
