Good old pbf.
I am starting to think we are becoming a pbn. We have to pay for things that we should have (sig, colored username, and ect.) Since I already have a pbn account I think that using pbf will be worthless. Pbf use to be the small site that would help you and now I believe they are trying to make it into another pbn. Well I guess this means I'm out. I'll stop in every now and then but not as much as I have been. So, thanks pbf for all you have done.
Later,
Nick

We've been copying PBN for the past several years. It's pretty stupid, but no one seems to care I guess. Anyone who has even the slightest sense for business knows that copying will only lead to failure. Unless you're going to offer something different, there is no point in being in business.

Somebody should buy the site off of steve, or whoever owns it.

Our fun little home away from home just got a giant corporate billboard nailed to the roof. Wonderful.

I thought of it. I'd love to buy it, but I don't have the money at the moment.

everytime i click the PBF tab on my firefox browser i get some website that looks completely different than the old pbf.. this is ridiculous. i honestly cannot believed this is what pbf is coming down to.. i always thought it was cool that you can log on, see the same members and recognize them by their avatars or signatures.
thats what was great. logged on and it was the same people. and sure there were new members, even if i dont like them anyway they're still pretty actively participating int he forum.
i wish this steve would get a grip and realize that PBN is the mega-paintball site. paintball forum is equivalent to a mom-and-dad store.
i mean it honestly is not the same, and it does kind of suck to because it was always relaxing to come home from school if i have nothing else to do and sit back listen to some music and browse pbf. now thats completely ruined.
this is like the epitome of selling out.

Too much. Not only do you have the initial purchasing price, but also the monthly server costs, which I'm sure are a ton. Ads would help, but that requires knowing people who want to advertise.

I remember a long time ago when PbF went down for awhile and someone made another faux PbF and it got like 600 members or so..
