we bought one of those at a yard sale about 11 years ago. We took it to a bike shop and they told us they would give us around $200 for it. I figure now its worth anywhere from $250-300.

plain gloss red? if so its worth around 150-175.
if it has metal flake in it (sparkly paint) you could prolly get around 200-225 if you shine it up real good.
lowrider bikes arent going for a whole lot these days i built a few and sold em around here and made very little profit off of em.
my suggestion would be polish/wax it up and stick it on craigslist for about 150-175.

is that a legit banana bike with original paint? my aunt has a similar looking bike from when she was little, and its worth like $1,500 now

It's completly original. Same paint, all that ****. My sister won it @ a Car Show raffle over 7 years ago and the guy told her it was worth $500 at the time
