There was a solar eclipse thing tonight.. did anyone see it?
Also my friend said it was goin to happen again tonight.. is this true?

Not sure why this is titled "North Carolina people" ... but I heard about the solar eclipse thing... I looked outside and it just looks like any other ordinary full moon.

Wow, North Carolina must be really really special. Especially since everywhere else in the world it was a LUNAR eclipse.

Yeah it has to be during the day for a solar eclipse, and at night for the lunar.
I looked outside last night and didn't notice anything, maybe it was over.

My dad is fascinated by that kind of stuff for some reason and was running around the house saying there was a solar eclipse. Didn't bother looking.

Solar eclipse happens when the moon is between earth and the sun. Lunar is when the earth is between the sun and the earth (causing a shadow on the moon).

It was a lunar eclipse. We only saw some of it, with the earth's shadow covering part of the moon. But the clouds rolled in pretty quickly.
