Easy Challenge
Ok well long story short my mom took our computer to a computer company and had him block PbN and some other sites because I was on them all the time. Well he blocked htem using Trend Micro Internet Seucrity 2006 so I wen t to C: drive and deleted al lthe folders he modified (I noticed by the date) and tried letting it allow me to them, no workey worky. SO I open trend micro go to anti-phishing & content protection then attempted to open "web site filter" well he's a smart guy and denied me access so I right clicked on the TM logo in my toolbar hit open main console > configure > Protection : recommended and tried opening it, he's samrter then I thought, denied access to that to. My qwuestion is how do I override this?

Success. OK what I did was close the internet and then turn off everything Trend Micro, I then went into poptions and where it said restricted sites I looked and there was nothing so I went to allowed sites and typed in the ones blocked then hit OK and turned TM back on and it lets me go to them.

LoL I'm not deleting Trend Micro, I don't have any other program and don't want a virus. I did delete the files he made that saved my URl's and history though.

I'm glad my parents never try to control my life.
I would probably kill someone if anyone else in my family touched my computer.

Same-ish. I have it set to turn off the monitor and prompt for my password if I leave it idle for an hour. Most of the time when I leave the house, though, I set it to "lock screen" beforehand. It's not that anyone even would touch it, I just prefer that people leave my computer alone at pretty much all costs. Some people are too nosy for their own good.

I used to lock mine but I stopped caring once I moved to the basement. It was a hastle and I'm on my computer like 98% of the time so it didnt really matter to me.

man am i glad my parents werent control freaks..
trust is a valuable thing. even if you are doing something behind their backs, you will atleast feel guilty, and your relationship will still be better as a whole because there are no gripes between you
