I want to ask you the most important question of your life. The question is: Are you saved? It is not a question of how good you are, nor if you go to church, but are you saved? Are you sure you will go to Heaven when you die?

The Holy Bible describes Heaven as a beautiful place where people live forever with no death, sorrow, sickness and pain. {Revelation 21:4}

Hell is described as a place of suffering forever for all those who are not saved. {Matthew 13:50}

The good news is that about 2000 years ago Jesus Christ(God the Son) paid for everyone's sins or wrong doing by dying on the cross and rising from the dead after three days. {Mark 10:34}

God the Son came as a sinless man. {Philippians 2:5-8}

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto God(The Father), but by me." {John 14:6} He is our ONLY way to God(The Father) in Heaven.

The Holy Bible says, "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God(The Father) raised Jesus Christ from the dead, you will be saved." {Romans 10:9}

You should not wait until later to get saved because you may die before you get another chance and you will miss Heaven.

If you want to be sure you will go to Heaven after this life is over just pray a meaningful prayer like the one below with your mouth and from your heart right now to God and you will be saved.

Dear God I want to be saved. Dear Jesus Christ Son of God I want to make you my personal Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins or things I have done wrong in my life. Thanks Jesus Christ for taking my punishment for my sins by shedding your sinless blood on the cross and dying for my sins. Jesus Christ I now confess you as my Lord and believe in my heart that God(The Father) raised you from the dead. Amen.

If you just allowed God to save you then welcome to the family of God because you are now a Christian on your way to Heaven.

Please copy and send or email this message to your friends and family so they can have a chance to be saved.

And this is a good example of why certain thread topics should be banned. Not religion specifically, but if we go talking about pr0n and ****, people manage to find their way onto our site. I believe this thread follows the same principle, in response to someone's (I cant remember who started it) thread about bible study.

Heres a more important question, because I think your wasting valuable time and resources:

Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. If God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?

Heres the bottom line. We are all created equal members of the human race. There is not heaven and there is no hell. Nobody will ever be able to proove the existance of it. However, to prove that it doesnt exist is a little easier. Theres no evidence supporting it, but there is evidence against it. Heres why:

The bible tells stories about jesus turning water into wine and feeding thousands with a few baskets of bread and fish.

Physical impossibilities. The law of the conservation of matter is universal. It can not be argued with the bible. Its physics.

Also, did you know that Christians murdered entire civilizations of native Americans? Did you know that the popes were so corrupt, they literally took out entire chunks of the bible at their own discretion? Or that for thousands of years, while the church was preaching about forgiveness, they excommunicated scientists who came up with theories that are accepted as true information today?

People are so confused...

Just live life. Be like jesus. Love one another. But don't forget what religion was really created for. In 0 AD people did not have the intelligence or mental capacity to be good on their own. Thats why people created religion. Today we can. Be good to your neighbor, and treat others as you wish to be treated.

And stop trying to spread your beliefs. If it truly is 'the work of god', then people will go to it on their own free will, you shouldn't have to try brainwashing people.

like it says in the bible,time is of no existence to God,God is the alpha and the omega,he has always been.and yes thats hard to realize,but thats how it is for humans

lol, that reminds me of the sex fair at college. The religious group (SALT) had their own table for abstinence, where they gave out little toys for free if you said you would wait until marriage. Meanwhile all the other tables were giving out condoms, dental dams, ect. For some reason all the other tables were full of kids, while the kid at the SALT table was all alone.

Anyway, I think I'll leave this up for now, but it will have to be closed eventually. I'm actually some-what impressed that, for once, the spam is in the right forum and it's well written.

I think the only thing bad about these discussions lies in the fact that nobody can prove the other side right or wrong.

I'm going to sit on the side and watch this, it's always pretty entertaining. And, finally, this religious debate was not started by some flame, it was started by what appears to be an intelligent post.

why should this be closed? We talk about sex and drugs and drinking all the time, do all of those fall under the PG-13 guideline while religion doesn't?

and i'm pretty sure that the big bang theory involved light.....lots of it

hence....science and religion actually aid each other.
