Growing up
Really sucks. I know I'm not even 20, but god damn, I feel like I have nowhere to go but down. Its really disheartening to have so much **** literally dumped on your lap after you turn 18. Why is 18 this magic number? What was different now that wasn't 6 months ago.
Why, PBF? Why?
(if your under 18, do not seriously respond to this thread, instead go out an enjoy yourself)

I hit that wall around the time i turned 19 or 20, I can't really remember. you suddenly feel completely overwhelmed with life and responsibility of it all. things that semed important sudeny become fun hobbies to dabble in, but your real concerns change. Yeah, it's weird.

I definitely was terribly overwhelmed right after I turned 18 (I'm approaching 20 now). In the last almost two years, though, I've begun looking at things a whole lot differently. Most of the stuff that had me stressed out simply doesn't matter.
I guess it depends on the kind of life you want to live. I choose to live a pretty stress-free life, so I tend not to worry much about trivial things. But if you're not like me and insist on "comfort and convenience," then I guess my words are pretty useless.

You think you hit a brick wall now....wait until your friends start getting married. That's a real big "holy crap" moment.

yeah sometimes i hate living in a "rich" town. everybodys parents buys them cars and pays for insurance, buys them top of the line clothing, and brags about it. i'm just greatful i have a house over my head and food on the table. though my parents are pretty well off me and my sister are pretty much on our own when it comes to expenses. but i'm not doing too bad.
just depends on the way you look at it. you can either accept that that's life or complain about it and not get anywhere. i'm a complainer personally

Tis good to be young.

nah i was just complaining (kinda jelous haha) that so many kids in my town who are my age who don't have to pay car insurance and car payments and don't even pay for anything. i find that a part of growing up. having to keep track of all those things.

been 18 for like 2 months... The only thing that has affected me so far was i was hitting on some girl and her exe boyfriend was going to call the cops on me for being 18... which I thought was very "tool"ish of him.... Also couldn't kick the **** out of him because he himself was under 18.
But here in like a month...I'll be moving out so bills and stuff.
