I dont know, the cruise I went on(Carnival) there were almost no American workers. I dont mean they were all spanish or mexican, they were from everywhere..Canada, New Zealand, Different parts of asia, and others. All english speakers of course. But the reason I say that is because I dont know if the pay is bad and thats why there arent many american workers. But you wouldnt be spending much money anyways so you could jsut save whatever you make.
And dont let the non american thing discourage you, they were all veryy friendly and after the first day you wouldnt even care where they were from if you did boarding the ship.
