Want To Have Free Room, Food, And Save Up Money???
Work on a Cruise Ship! I'm considering doing it when I get older. You stay on the ship for about 6 months at a time. You get free food and room. And you get paid! Plus you can tavel. The only problem is the 6 months at a time thing but I think it would be a good learning experience and be worth it. I just took a Cruise on the Carnival Liberty cruis boat and now I want to work there.

Whats the pay like? I'm always looking for a new interesting job. Although my g.f would kill me if I did something like that being gone so long.

I considered that a while ago, but after seeing Titanic I no longer want to live on a boat.

Hmm, I don't think I'd particularly like that.

6 months is a longggg time. yea free stuff, but if your a teenager especially think about it this way: your parents pay for your food/room for the most part. it's like being on house arrest for 6 months...except on a boat, in prob a smaller room, but moving around. You wouldn't be able to see your friends or go out to the grocery store, etc... There's an argument both ways but 6 months seems to be alittle long for my liking.

It seems like a great way to earn some money and meet some cool people. Sure you're away from your friends, but you'll probably make new friends with passengers on the cruise and other people working (you'll be seeing the employees everyday for six months.)
If you're looking to start a new life somewhere else, it sounds like a good idea. You could work on the cruise for six months and then get off at a location and live there.

Not a chance, i like going places too much. The thought of not being able to just go to a restraunt or the movies or open air. Plus your working all the time so your cabin probably isnt as comfortable as a room but i dunno.

I'm not sure that's exactly what happened with the Titanic.

You know, the military offers a similar program. Not only do you get free room, food, and money; but you get to meet interesting people in foreign lands...and kill them.
It's just a thought.

Id take the vacationish version over the military version. Id mainly do it to save up money, travel, and meet people.
