I use it, imho the closest thing you can get to photoshop

get cs3, its free. do some research, or ask someone here, there are a fwe people here that know the hack to get cs3 free

Well, CS3 isn't free. Legally.
If you dont want to break the law, use GIMP.
I, personally, use CS3. It's great.
