Broken wrist yay
Well, today there is qualifiers for the Union square street ses comp at my home mountain. I was there warmin up cuz the comp is at 7, its gonna be taped and be on NBC, but anyways I was throwin down with a few of my buddies on a pretty basic rail. Well we went to go grab a some grub, came back and I went to throw a 270 on to a backside boardslide to an attempted 270 out. Needless to say the landing had iced up, slid out, caught an edge I think, and ****in snapped my wrist. I'm so pissed. I'm debating going down to the comp anyway and just goin for it with the cast on.
Pics will come eventually, now maybe the judge will drop the charges on me for that other **** I pulled. Haha, who cares.

Broken wrists are the most common snowboard injury out there. I broke one of my wrists trying to tail press 180 out with no speed

Yea first run of the comp I was sketch about just fallin on my wrist, and if you have it in your head you know what happens. I just went to the bar after that run. So pissed off.
Drs? I don't go to them. I had an old cast from when I broke some fingers that they made a wrist thing out of that I acebandaged on. It'll be fine in a few days.

Sucks about your wrist man, I broke mine playin football back when I was about 13 and it wasn't fun. I didn't go to the Dr. either I just through a wrist brace on there and wrapped it in an ace bandage.

I broke both my wrists at the same time snowboarding a few years ago. It sucked.
I ended up getting to lazy to eat the normal way (and it hurt trying to) So I lived on Carnation Instant Breakfast shakes for about 3 weeks.

yeah, snowboarding and wrist injuries seem to go hand in hand. I've had one, my friend has had one. That sucks though dude.
