I don't mind NJ/PA gas prices...
....because I've been to NY state.
Yikes.

That is ****ing ridiculous man. I would have a hard time paying gas like that. It is around 3.30 right now in Connecticut. I was in Rhode Island last week and we payed something like 2.89. That was pretty cool.

Where in NY? Gas was cheaper in Queens where my fiance lives than up here in Rochester. It's ~$3.30 now in Roch, and was ~$3.15 in Queens last month. No idea what it is now.
But yes, NY taxes suck.

Its like 3.60 here. Not good. Finding other fuel sources definitely has advantages.

like 4 months ago it was at $3.30 here, then it dropped to like $2.89 and within the last month its back up to $3.14ish. And 2 kinds of gas isnt that strange, some stations around here only have that. I know when i took a road trip though to the grand canyon i seen places with a lot of different types. Around here, you get unleaded or premium!

There are a lot of factors that determine gas prices, but I read a very interesting article in Conde Nast Portfolio a month or two ago that gave a plethora of reasons as to why gas prices will drop by as much as 50% in the coming years.
Optimistic? Maybe. Impossible? Absolutely not.
I'll run through some of the reasons a bit later. I think I posted them in another thread at one point.
