I hate energy drinks and I never drink them. The ONLY one I ever drink is Ram Jam. It's a fountain energy drink at QuikTrip, along with Rooster Booster. But I don't really like Rooster Booster. Anyways I just laugh at everyone who spends like 3 bucks on a ****ing energy drink, when I get a 32oz. of Ram Jam which tastes 100000x better for 69 cents. 74 cents with tax included.

I realized I hate the regular Monster so I'll be sticking to the lo carb if I go to Monster. I rarely drink ED's though, maybe once a month maybe twice if I'm feeling it. I drink one before a tournament, not for the buzz but I drink it early enough to where by the time we start playing I hit the dump after the rush, I am calm and play a lot better in the dump then the rush.

This is what always kills me. When people drink this garbage before playing a sporting event. You're supposed to be staying hydrated, not dehydrating yourself. Stick to water or gatorade.

I've drank locarb monsters before rugby games(and ive played the whole 80 minutes, in texas heat). some of the better performances ive had.

of course i stay hydrated before, during, and after as best i can.

i dont like seeing teenager/younger kids drinking them though. kids are strung out enough

I stay hydrated, drinking around a gatorade in between the games. I just simply use that crash to calm my mind down so I can focus. I don't drink it so I can get that buzz to get me hyper so I move faster etc etc, I generally am in the back so keeping calm while being able to perform is a very helpful thing, which that "crash" does for me.
