Shhhh...
We're not supposed to tell anyone.
I personally like it a lot... I'm very curious to see what the rest of their album is going to be like as well... I'm a big Metallica fan (favorite album is "...And Justice for All").
The singing is a lot cleaner, at least in this song (at first).
*edit* "cleaner" isn't the right word... smoother? idk what the word is, but you get my point.

I heard it on the way to work, instrumentals are the usual Mettalica awesomeness. Vocals I didn't hear much of them given I caught it towards the end.

I actually didn't care for it much. I thought, from what Hetfield was saying (I think I read it in Revolver), it was going to be like their old music. It really isn't. There obviously is no going back to the good ol' days with Metallica. They're stuck in this stage of making mediocre rock, no longer the gods of metal they used to be. Which is understandable considering how long ago ...And Justice and Ride The Lightning were recorded, but unfortunate nonetheless.

What an incredible
disappointment.
I'm picturing the album cover to "Ride the Lightning" but all I can see is this as I listen to it....

Kirk Hammet is from my hood.
2 legit would probably prefer listening to white trash country music about ****ing one's sister while under the influence of methamphetamines and bud light.
Not that I consider metallica to be especially good, but I can see their appeal.
