Grown up stuff. A lot different from what I was doing when I started coming here, but alas I never deleted the bookmark.

How have you been man? I remember thinking you were a badass on these forums haha.

Hah, same here. My life kind of went sideways after high school and led to a few wasted years at a community college (no debt to speak of, luckily) with me wondering what I'm even doing. I've now gotten myself on track and I'm pulling off straight A's on my way to a Computer Science degree. I've got a little side business doing computer repair and have a meeting with a new client on Friday that may end up as a regular. Overall, I'm doing pretty well!

It sure is funny to come back here and look through old posts. I can't believe the stupid garbage I would post here when I was younger. Oh well, we all had a lot of fun. Nice to see some familiar faces too.

Yeah, it sure is strange looking back. Most of us were barely teenagers when we first started posting here. Not a care in the world, just paintball and PBF. I've been doing great lately. Very happy, finally feeling like my life has direction. Got a steady girlfriend who's just about done with her teaching degree, and once I'm done with mine we're hoping to move to Seattle and start fresh.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that makes a firearm better makes a paintball marker worse. They are 2 very different worlds with nothing except a trigger in common

Hi, never posted around the same time as you but I can attest to remembering stupid garbage posts and the ensuing lulz.

Super to hear your success in school. Why Seattle? Tree Hugging Hipster much?

your story sounds a lot like mine. Stay in school kiddies, or you end up wishing you had.

Thanks! And yeah, just a bit. Honestly, both my girlfriend and I have some family that we wouldn't mind never seeing again. Seattle is also an amazing place for software development, so I'll likely never be out of a job up there. I'd like to get in with Microsoft, or in some crazy stroke of luck, Valve, but those are definitely both in the long term.

I wouldn't be surprised with the stupidity I used to bring around here. I can't say that it wouldn't be deserved. Nice to see you too. I hope life is treating you well.

This is just weird looking at this thread. Reminds me of when the lounge was a scary place I didn't go in so i wouldn't get flamed.

^Beat me to it.

But I agree - I'm sure Vpraidersfan1 wasn't the only sub-13 poster. I was 14 when I joined, but I remember getting PMs from 12yos. How is Seattle? - particularly rent and gas prices? I've been planning to make my way out west to follow some new career opportunities namely San Francisco and Portland.

This blows me away. I remember most of the names in here. Being 13, playing paintball, and doing everything we could to annoy everyone without getting banned. Those were the days. Glad to see almost everyone else still has the bookmark too.

Isn't that the truth...

Figured I'd stop in and say whats up to everyone. Things have been up and down for me. Hopefully things are on there way back up now haha.

Split up with my girlfriend of 3.5 years(3 of which we lived together. She was screwing her ex the last 6 months we were together. And here I was shopping for engagement rings. Jokes on me haha. Oh well. Live and learn.

I am hoping to start my own business by the spring. I want to open a food truck. I should have the money to have it open by late may or early june. I love to cook and I feel like if its marketed right could be a hit here. Matrix would you agree?

If you guys have any ideas for names lets hear them. I need to come up with a design for the truck also. I want it to stand out. I cant wait. Just waiting for the funds to do it. But it should be a fun winter project.

Famous franks get a TON of business Thursday-Saturday at campus bars. I'm not sure where they go the rest of the time, but it's not a terrible idea if you can find spots during the rest of the week.

Good to see you around, I was wondering if you were still in town or not.

Man, haven't seen a post from you in quite a while

Yeah I know how much it can suck to split from a long term relationship, mine however was under much more tame circumstances. But everything works out and I'm seeing someone else now and I'm happier then i've been in probably a year or more. I'm sure you'll find success with the food truck. If you want things to change or improve at the end of the day you're the one that has to go out and do it!

What kind of food are you selling?

I think the most famous food truck I know is Cobra Dogs: COBRA DOGS
