Who here thinks that old people need to get off their butts and do something? My grandma is about 90, and gets winded going up the stairs. The guy across the street is 90, and he cuts his own lawn, walks up the road every day, drives, everything. Man, old people bug me... they drive like 15mph in a 35mph zone around here...

My grandpa is almost 80 and we do most everything for him, but he pays me and lets us live on his land free, but we'd still take care of him even if he didn't.

that is why i am a firm believer that a new law should be made, Every person has to take another drivers test at the age of 65 and every five years after that to continue haveing a lisence

Once past 65 as boss said it should be every time you go to renew your license you must take the driving test again. (Every four years)

Wow, I just finished reading this whole thread, and I'm STILL laughing even as I type this. Truly, old people are a strange phenomenon. They were once young (or so they want us to believe) and athletic and now if you try to play football with them they'd prolly break a hip. Even so, old people are funny to talk to because most have no conception of today's society, so they continuously criticize it, and it's just funny. "Durn whipper-snappers" is the best quote ever!

My grandma still thinks it is like 1950. If anyone raises their voice my grandma is on us like a hawk asking whats wrong! Jeez, she is SO nosey....

lol my grandma is cool tho she gets up every day and does regular activities. (Washes car, cleans yard, irons clothes, gives me money, and shops.) shes 86 now. the only thing bad is she complains alot about the neighbors and people alot. i agree with her but theres nothing we can do about it

Just wait about 50 years and see how YOU feel about society and those ungrateful bastards who make fun of you because your not as fit now as you were 40 years ago. And how they don't realize that it was YOU who assisted in shaping the world that they are priviledged to live in.

There is nothing wrong with old people. Perhaps you should look upon them as examples and not burdens.

I guess it makes no difference though when you're stuck on the freeway because some 80 yr old guy who starred Nazi germany in the face and pressed forward though his better judgment would deem not to. And despite seeing friends die most horrible deaths beside him he still completed his mission in the name of your and the rest of the worlds freedom. And came back home to grow old so people like you can drive around as you please in a free America and curse at him in English, because he feels like beeing safe. But, alas, you desperately need to get to where you're goin.

Don't like the way they drive? Pass them or take a different road.

First off, the "old people" i am talking about is MY grandma, and she didn't do **** her whole freaking life. Never had a job, never did anything. Second of all, when i get to be like her, i would PRAY that someone shoots me, because i don't want to be a pain in the ass to everyone. Thirdly, piss off.
