Now I know that some of you think airsoft sucks. But it dosent, you just have to give it a fair chance. And I'm not going to be biased about this because I love both painball and Airsoft. And lets not try to sink to paintballisgay.com's level and flame airsoft.

Im getting into airsoft and wondering if anyone else is.

Heres 2 of the guns I plan on getting. Both AEG's (electronic) and they cost like $190 each. Both are almost ecxat replicas and have alot of medal parts and are also good quality.

Im also not going to get the one in my profile because its mostly plastic and dosent have many add-ons. Its just really cool looking and you might recognize it from Metal Gear Solid.

One thing cool about airsoft is that you can make your guns look so cool with sights, slings, hi capacticy clips, foregrips, and a ton of other stuff that is used in real life.

And I think it would be a ton of fun to play because you scrimage in close quaters combat like a real SWAT team. Sounds like a ton of fun.

Haha, dont worry, all of them come with orange tips on the end so cops know they are fake. Its the law.

But in airsoft you have to know real squad based tactics and strategys, cuz Ive seen them play in little buildings and stuff. I just have never seen anywhere to play!

no, if a cop sees you about to shoot someone with it in a neighborhood or something he wont look for an orange tip, he'll cap your ass

True, they will cap you hardcore. What you need to do is see if you can play at a paintball field in your area or on your own property away from where gun grabbing liberals can see you else you could get shot or arrested and then they take your gun away and destroy it, not cool at all. Within the next few months I'll be getting my own AEG. Can't decide what I want though, I really like the M-16 series but they say AKs are great beginner guns.

If you do plan to get into airsoft be sure to buy anything big from reputable dealers in Hing Kong, any where else and you get screwed over in price or even get taken for a ride, lousy Koreans taking credit card numbers. Two great forums for airsoft are www.airsoftzone.com (look out for that asswipe SHADOW) and www.airsoftretreat.com even though though SHADOW is a dickhead it's still a good place, just don't get on his bad side.

Actually the orange caps are only for shipping reasons, once you buy it as long as you don't plan on shipping it anywhere or taking it across state lines you can take (pry) off/paint over the orange cap. Though, there really isn't any reason to do so.

Actually most places supply a second flashhider that you can use after you get the gun, simply unscrew the orange one and put the stock color on. When your out in the woods waiting for someone to walk by that inch of orange (thats how far back you have to paint the orange on) shows up very nicely and if you want to display the guns hows a hunter saftey orange tip gonna look on the M-16A2? Reeeeaaaaalllllll tacky, like stuff from K-Mart.

im thinking of getting into airsoft too. but not as much as i am into paintball though. I have a friend that bought an mp5, so him and i are gonna play.

yeah those orange things are gay.

id love to get like a M-16A2, a spas/or bennillie (sp), then like a desert eagle and take em on rambo. though youd way quite a bit

Hey Aggression, I just noticed the price on those guns, where in the name of Jesus are you getting that kind of deal?!?!!? tHAT PRCE IS REALLY LOW. I'm looking at one from wargameclub.com and without battery and charger it's $213, at airsoftclub.com it's $211 without battery, and at redwolfairsoft.com it's $213 without batter and charger. Now these two items, the batter and charger, are very important to the working of the gun or else toy'd just have a replica weapon suitable for mounting on your wall, but for $190 I want to know where your getting this fantastic deal or getting screwed without getting a smile out of it.

O and hi-cap magazines don't just hold an increased ammount like instead of holding 30 rounds it holds 50, no instead of 30 it holds 300 and it's the same size as the standards. Of course you have to rewind the mag after about 60 shots or so.

Obviously you've never shot real steel, soon though I will know the joy of firing a fully automatic .45. My stepgrandfather has one and he said he'd take me out to the range to use my new rifle and he'd bring along the .45.

i wish, where i live and grew up if you had the oppurtunity to shoot a real gun you are lucky (controlled ofcoarse) its a once in a life time oppurtunity here

Oh you live in Canada, you need to move to Montana to get rid of these repressed feelings and buy a Uzi or a M2 liquid cooled machine gun, or Nevada, Nevada has everything you need, guns, girls, and gambling and it's right next to California so you can go to the beach and harras some queers

Yeah see theres another factor in this. Common Sense. Im not going to go out and pretend to kill some one with a replica of an AK-47. Trust me, Im not that stupid.

The HK MP4 is $181. And I messed up when I said the AK-47 was the same price. Its $213. But Im going to buy them with battery and charger and then the MP4 is only $211. So thats affordable.

And I know the Hi-Cap clips dont hold 50. Ive been doing my homework here, and when I get into something I find out as much as I can and look up a ton of stuff and have seen those. And Im probably getting that, a sling, scope, and some combat gear.

But yeah you should get an AK. I read a review and only heard good things about them. The only small details they said that were bad was how the trigger frame didnt have any ribs, its just like a block of wood. They said there is a ton of metal parts and it is incredibly durable.
