the problem is that no religion can be proven correct, and several can be proven flat-out wrong. Therefor, the only way to 'prove' your religion is to blow up the people who dissagree. Look at the jewish zionists in Palestine, look at the enraged fundamentalist Islamics, look at our president, who declares God's will every time he adresses terrorism. Since when was God America's piss boy? What about France? They're religious. What about Germany? They're religious. But.. wait- they dissagree with Bush's warmongering tactics. That can't be right. These are nations of God, aren't they? Oh, that's right. Religion is a pacifying tool used to quell Americans into thinking that all is well, because the holy oil war is all in God's plan.
Tell you what, Jesus Christ doesn't sanction killing your enemy in ANY situation. That's what makes Old Testament beliefs so dangerous. They're vile and vengefull. Tell you what, though, those Zionists that you claim to hate so much for blowing people up (that is, your tragic attempt at showing 'empathy') follow the same Old Testament god you do. Guess their wars are infallible too. The Islams? Same god, new prophet. Well then, I guess we're ALL vindicated in the eyes of the lord.
THEN WHY ARE WE BLOWING EACHOTHER UP?
Religions don't cause war as much as they catalyze war. Even wars that had nothing to do with religion started with the strife caused by religion. World War I was sparked by the passive hatred in the Balkans, based on religious strife. This in turn set WWII in motion, in which several enterprising Fascists would again use God to justify their actions- and blame all political issues on the Jews (THE lynch-pin of his plan, without which he would not have gotten far.) WWII caused the UN to promise Zionists land in Israel. See a pattern? Religion causes strife, strife causes war, war causes religious (and racial) discrimination, which in turn causes more strife, which makes more war.
Viet Nam is the only exception I can think of, but that was perpetuated by Communism, an extinct ideology introduced by the prophet Marx, promising people things they will never have. There you have it. It's a religion minus supernatural powers.
Capitalism has the same potential when forced onto populations. Don't bother spreading capitalism. It's irrelevant to any non-capitalist country. The word you want here is Democracy.
