How do I figure out the area of a triangle?
No how about you do that for me? Yeah that's more like it, I got four triangles see, now here's the format base, height #1 2,2 #2 2,3 #3 2,4 #4 2,5 now figure me out the area of those, now here's the second question, I have to make a line graph showing how the base relates to the area. I hate math, it blows hardcore, especially this.

A^2+B^2=C^2 so the length of your 2 sides squared equals the hypotenuse squared. EX: A triangle with sides of 3 and 4 would have a hypotenuse of 5 because 3^2=9 + 4^2=16 9+16 =25 and the square root of 25 is 5. I hope this helps.

A = .5 x Base x Height. Simple. Dont forget your units!

pee pants, tahts not what he asked.
1/2AB where a=altitude and B=Base
ALWAYS WORKS FOR ALL TRIANGLES
and whats about Hero's formula?
s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
a,b,c are sides
s= semiperimeter= 1/2 perimeter.
ALL TRIANGLES

its not that hard. its just one half the base times the height. its easy stuff.

for all triangles its 1/2(base) x Heighth
for right triangles theres the pythagorean theroem and its
Side A squared x Side B squared= Side C squared
then theres some geometry stuff that works for isosolies trianges.
