hey, any one else love this band.

i first heard them a while ago and bought their 2nd cd, toxicity. and loved it, listened to it all teh time, and still listen to it... but then today i got their 3rd cd, steal this album, and damn, this blows the first 2 outta the water, this cd is so awesome.

its starts off heavy then gets lighter towards the end, like heavy bass and electric guitar in the first half then gets to acustic and stuff towards the end.

and they have some great songs on there.

has anyone else heard stuff from thes cd.. oh and if you dont like system of a down, please dont come on here and rip on them, every one likes different music....

I think they're great and I have all their albums. I think the first one's the best though.

Oh yeah and I think the drummer rocks, he's one of the best ones out there right now.

And we'll have to wait for 2 years to hear anything new from system cause they're taking a 2 year hiatus cause they don't wanna get all popular and then sell out like Sugar Ray and Smash Mouth etc...

im glad they are waiting... cuz i rememebr how sugar ray was damn sweet then they sold out and stopped making real music and just pop.

System rules. I don't like some of the things they do or think maybe...but I love their music. I have all three CD's and I've known of them longer than most people I know...way longer. They're one of my favorite bands...way up on the list. A lot of people didn't know who they were till "Chop Suey" but I've listened to them for like 2 years or more before that came out. Good music.

they are a good band, i like em... but after seeing that "boom" video it kinda made me go the other way, but they still have good music

That. It's not contreversial...I just didn't agree with it. That all about protesting the war and all of that...just not my same views. I still love the music though...just don't agree with every message they have.

I like Toxicity, how the drummer kind of makes it sound like its "dropping" from slow to fast, or fast to slow. They're great!

i actaully really liked the boom music video, not becuase they are protesting the war, but how they are getting their opinion across. and how they did was very.. i dunno, just with the tezt at the beginning and ending and the clips and such were really well done to get the point across. even if you dont liek the point you have to admire their technic.

SOAD rocks, i have all their cds, and id have to say Toxicity is the best, i like practically every song on there.

the SOAD- Self titled cd is good too, sugar is pretty sweet (not so much the lyrics but the insturmental)

the new one is pretty cool and is better than the first, but toxicity still owns it, alothough "Mr. Jack" and a few other songs are pretty cool.

Mr. Jack is my favorite song on the new CD...that and Innervision. The ending of Mr. Jack is so damn sweet...I love it.

System of a Down is so kick ass. i love their songs especially forest, phyco, atwa, spiders and Mr. jack. Their new cd steal this album kinda sucks. their getting to political

They've always been kinda political...these are the songs that weren't put on other CD's. That's the only thing I kinda dislike about them. Ignore some of the messages though and you don't even notice cuz they kick so much ass. I'm actually glad they'll take some time off so they don't get too big and start making ****ty music.

wanna hear a good SOAD song?
search Kazaa or Grokster or whatever software you have, for system of a down the legend of zelda, or link, or something of that sort.
they did a great cover of the Legend of Zelda video game theme song,

i knew them back before Toxicity, but i didnt really listen to them,
but i liked one song called "Suite Pea"
thats my input on SOAD..
