I deleted my other thread as this is where my heart seems to be laying...
I've decided I'd like it to contain all "extreme" sports, and general other sports as well perhaps.... and general forums as well. It would kinda be skateboarding/rollerblading/snowmobileing/other sports/bored stuff chit chat.
So it'd be an Extreme Sports Forum, with a bunch of general chit-chat forums.
Opinions?

Hyperboards sucks so bad it can't even be CALLED software.....
This is MY first hyperboards made like 8 months ago..

nah, dude, I don't take things that someone says over a computer from Pennsylvania personally, and hes right, hyperboards is freakin slow, its just I'm flat broke so I can't buy any good software or a server

Anyway, I'll give you the goods kimZ, I'll tell you the information and sites for good software (sign-up or hosted) and the pros and cons of each one.(all free)
http://hyperboards.com - Not recommended. Slow, limited administrative/user options, pop-ups. Does not require hosting.
http://forum.snitz.com - Not bad at all. Can use MySQL or access database. (MySQL is better though.) Their forum provides links to hosts, and you can ask questions at their support board) Requires hosting. Live board: http://motocross.com/forum
http://phpbb.com - Best free forum software in my opinion. Perfect for a hosted free bbs, and good on newb admins, too.  Requires hosting. Live board: http://stupidmotherphooka.com/Forum/
http://ibforums.com - All right BBS, though very hard to customize and has a complicated admin cp (even I have trouble navigating through this 4 feet deep snow of a cp) Requires hosting. Live board: http://dirtcycles.theforumhost.com/iboard/index.php
http://aimoo.com - Best sign-up board there is, great for a small community, only flaw is some admin cp options aren't available to you unless you buy a diamond community license. Does not require hosting.
http://ikonboard.com - It's an all right free bbs, I haven't checked up on it for awhile, I've used it before though, it's pretty good. Requires hosting. Live board: http://www.flatface.net/forums/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi
All in all, my list from best to worst:
1) PHPBB
2) Ikonboard
3) Invision Power Board
4) Snitz
5) aimoo
6) hyperboards
