Atv Help
Hello me and my dad are interested in getting a couple of quads. New or used. I was wondering if some people (that know what they are talking about) could help me out. I was hoping i could get the names of a few inexpensive decent ones. Or otehr ones that wouldnt be to expensive used that are good. Help would be apreciated. Thanx (when i say inexpensive i mean for atv's)

id say since its for fun most the 250-300 2 strokes will float your particular boat since your just startin out. yamahas are really good ones and i also would say hondas too. suzuki and kawasaki both just made a deal in their dirtbike line where they are basically making the same bikes in different plastics but im not sure if that deal also applies to their atv line.
edit-your dad could get a bigger one than that since he could probably handle the torque and acceleration more than you.

If you want something that you would be riding hard all of the time then get a two stroke. If you are planning to just putt around and go through woods and stuff like that get a four stoke. I have had 2 or 3 two strokes within the past 5 years and I like them and all but if you dont ride them hard all of the time you will foul spark plugs. I love my ozark. It has racks but it also looks sporty. thats mine. I couldnt tell ya how much my dad paid for it. We traded in my old three wheeler so i dunno.
My dad has a Suzuki Eiger. It is awesome. I use it to move trailors and stuff. thats his.

It depends on how he wants to ride it. If he is goin to be racing, jumping, etc then he wants a 2 stroke. For trail riding mudding and stuff like that get a 4 stroke. I do a bunch of trail riding so I got a four stroke.

one time my friends dad was ridin his quad during the winter and accidentally went onto a lake and got stuck in the middle and the ice started to crack, friends dad jumped off and tried to run and got away just in time for the quad to fall in...they couldnt get it out, that sucked lol
