Ok read the title, is it pop or soda?
I forone think its soda, pop is a hillbully/old people term.

Up here in New York, we all call it pop (or at least my family does). To me (just me personally) soda sounds like an old fashioned term or something...
"Let's all go down to the Candy Shoppe and get ourselves some soda!"

I've always called it soda. I think that most meople in the midwest and upstate say pop though.
