Ok, anyway back to cars. Anyone see the Pontiac Solstice? It is a 2 seater roadster with more horse/torque then the Subaru WRX and it will be under $20,000 when it comes out. Sounds like a great sunday driving car or car for a teen that wants fast, but not the price usually associated with it.

Not bad, I like it. Kinda looks like the Mazda Miata, but couldn't be confused with it.

Well here is a Pic of my rice burner I bought it off of my mechanic his son owned it but was lagging on the payments so his dad sold it to me for 10 grand it has over 6 grand in upgrades alone.

Hey, a lot of the cars nowadays are four cyl. especially in the roadster catagory. It is incredable the about of power we can get out of the smaller engines now, without sacrificing any fuel economy. The Honda S2000 is a 2.0L 4-in-line and it gets a better 0-60 time and 1/4 time then the BMW Z4, Nissan 350Z, and the Porsche Boxter which are all 2.7+L 6'es.. I mean it ain't no muscle car, but for what a teen wants/needs in a car it is perfect. The WRX fills kind of the same gap, inexpensive, but fast, sporty, and well made.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with it being a 4 cylinder, just the supercharger part. Does it do much on a 4?

Yea, 240 horses worth. The good thing about a super charger is you don't get the lag a turbo would. So, you get all the power the 4 has plus the boost right from take off. I bet it would be a mean little car on the 0-60.

Nice. I personally dont like the sound of 4's to much. That makes people put those huge fart can echaust tips on their hondas, to make em *try* to sound like v8's

does it do much on a 4? It probably doubled the power on the stinkin engine. And with the addition of FI on any car, the mod potential multiplies tremendously. While you normally get 4 hp from an free-flowing exhaust on an NA engine, you are now getting 15 or 20 hp. Set of headers? 20 hp. $2000 later you got a 300hp german car eating monster.

dont get the $50 exhausts you see in the classifieds section of mags

Know this is a little late, but back to the cop car thing. Movie Black Sheep (great movie, I know)....has one of the sweetest cop cars I've ever seen. That car, is the sweetness.
