Why would he "most likely crash it"? Just because it's a sports car? Just because it's faster doesn't mean he's any more likely to crash in it. Plus, the fastest I can imagine someone doing on the highway or freeway is probly around a hundred, maybe a little more. You can do that in most cars available. They will take longer to reach that speed, yes, but they still can. So once again, just as likely to crash...

'98 Nissan 240 Z? Are you smokin somethin? I don't know exacly when they came out with them but I know it wasn't in '98. Maybe it was a typo, if so, sorry about jumpin on ya.

Personally, I'm gettin a Prelude, and yes, I'm ricin it out. Not totally, I hate those exhausts they have, so I"m not gonna put one of them on but yah I'm gonna have a lot of the other stuff. Neons, stickers, wing, body kit etc etc. Of course I'll go for Performance first.

My co-worker has a 02 civic. Its really nice. I would go with that. Just find a car that runs, and has low insurance and your set.

To whoever said that the WRX is their dream car... check out the Subaru WRX STi. Pimp.

i've decided not to spend much on the performance of my car, at least not to make it faster. Theres no point in wasting thousands of dollars on that crap when i dont drag, and i wont be racing. That money is better spent on paintball to hook up the interior

it may not be my first car, but i have a 88 tbird now. i used to have a mazda 626, and boy am i happy i moved!

it was a pain in the ass to get the tranny swapped (did it all myself, and automatic trannies SUCK to take out and put in), but i finally drove it around today and it was fun. i've already put a shift kit in it, and that made the shifts pretty firm. it still needs a new tire (the other 3 are still good) and brakes tho. so far i've got about 1600 spent on it, but i get to pay that all back to my mom when i get another job up here. but for some reason my uncle (big fox-body mustang freak) thinks i shouldn't put the mustang heads, throttle body and exhaust for another 40-50 or so horses

but i'll do that sooner or later

well just had to brag. i'm just happy i got it running again!

BMW Z-8, eh? Hmm, my dad used to work for a company called tri star transport. They haul fancy german cars around. My dad had a z8 on his truck, and the sticker price in the window was way more that $19k. Are you thinking of a z3, perhaps? Also, you're not going tho find a type r for cheap, and insurance will slaughter you. My car runs me about $1000 per 6 months. Of course, it has the 4.6 V8 in it. DaBlueDevil. a totaly trick prelude would be awesome. I used to have an 86 si, but the thing had 150k miles on it, and I couldn't refuse the offer on my cougar.

That shows how ignorant you are. First off, I think most people agree that they don't mind, or even like so called 'ricers' as long as they are not all flash and are actually fast.

Second off, as most people know as well, a majority of American cars have foreign parts.

As for **** the Japs, **** you Mr. Macho American **** Head. I garuantee you know nothing about the Japanese except for that the bombed us so we blew them up with some nukes. It's weird, but whenever people say stuff like that and how they bombed us at Pear Harbor, they somehow happen to FORGET things that happened before that, like in 1854 when the USA (that's us) FORCES Japan to sign an agreement to open Japan to foreigners. See, before this Japan was in a state of isolationism, and only select Dutch traders were allowed. Now, the USA comes in to Japan w/ their warships forcing them to trade. How would you feel? Then, in 1864, British, American, Dutch, and French warships attack the port of Shimonoseki to force them to open more ports.

Now I am not saying that this justifies what they did to us, or what we did to them. But let's not forget that we are not completely innocent either. Not to mention that it is an astounding feat for the Japanese to go from isolationists to a booming country that is the leading technological figurehead of the world in as little as 135 years (1868 to 2003), it's actually a little less as they became the technological leader sometime in probably the 70s or 80s, not really sure on that.

that all depends on what you get. Most of their cars are crap, but I have a 92 escort gt with about 170,000 miles on it, and it has never had any major repairs or problems.
