the easiest way is to toast the bread and then just put cheese inbetwen the mash it real good so the cheese melts off of the warm bread.

no way man. The best way is the old fashioned way. Loads of butter, slowly cooked over medium flame :

Slowly back away from the "Benny & June" video, then smack yourself in the face and come back to Earth!

I like putting grape jelly on my grilled cheese. You may think it's sick, but once you tried it, you are hooked.

I just made a trip to the store for some grilled cheese materials after i saw this thread again. If you can find it, i recommend Hillshire farms "toasting" bread. Delicious wtih 2 pieces of land o lakes american on medium heatt

benny and june? whats that? im just very bored and take the long way around things, like my brother and i didnt have butter, but we had whipping cream, and we wanted to make a cake, so instead of driving 2 minutes to our kroger, we made our own butter for fun! my brother and i both have irons for some reason (all of us kids have one, all four of us), and we really wanted grilled cheese, but our pans and our flatrange were dirty and we didnt wanna wait 45 minutes for the dishwasher to finish, and i had just finished ironing my money (something about crisp bills..) and my brother said, "Jordan, gimme that iron!". he used synthetic...i used cotton.but seriously, what is "benny and june"?
