yea, it bothered me and i feel for the families, but honestly, i don't care nemore. well, i do care, but i don't need to hear about it. quit sitting on past events, build off it and move on. it honestly doesn't bother me to much nemore. a friend of my sisters lost his dad in it and he has already accepted it and moved on, so y should dwell on it? i will never forget it, and no1 else will, so quit bringing it up

What really gets me pissed about 9/11 is how much AMERICA took advantage of it. Manufacerers instantly started rolling out flags, bunper stickers, t-shirts. It's ridiculous and flat out disgusting to use such a tragedy for profit. The ones who did it for selfish reasons should be shot!

I think it was a very unfortunate day in our countrie's history. I hope when I am a grandpa, I can tell my grandchildren about the day of September 11, 2001.

its easy for you guys to say that you want all the talk to stop, but after seeing the smoke in the sky that i knew came from the buildings, after seeing footage of people jumping from deadly heights, its really something i cant and never will forget. My family wasnt directly affected, but there were those who had to suffer, and seeing people after it happened was horrible. Even in little new jersey, we were extremely shaken up, 3000 of our neighbors were killed for no direct reason but to kill americans. Sorry but i think that it is important that we remember.

Secondly, incase you didnt realize, it was after people bought out all of the flags from all of the stores that the companies started to make more. i dont know about the west coast of the US or down south or away from here, but after the first few weeks of 9/11, it was absolutely impossible to find a flag at a store. THAT is why companies started making more, our local home depot was giving flags out for free. So before you start pointing fingers, or say people took advantage of a profitable situation, take a look at some pictures of new york, new jersey, penn. washington, the whole east coast, after the first few months of sept 11, and you will not see one without a flag in front of a house, or on a car, or on a book bag. Ever heard of patriotism?

my town is like an air base, any plane that is coming from the south, or south west, and heading to either jfk or newark airport will most likely fly somewhere over my town. and i seriously worry every time one of those planes are flying a little lower than usual or faster or slower, it has an effect on me that wont go away. I dont blame a lot of people that dont understand why people still make a big deal today, but i used to live in new york, and even 5 years ago when i moved to nj, whenever i would come back to see my family back in brooklyn, i would pass through the verizano bridge, and see the twin towers on my left, it was something that became a part of my life. But now when i go to ny, and i look there, its empty, its not the new york that i knew.

That was a good speech, NYY..

Edit: I went to a trip to New York with a few of my friends, and we saw Ground Zero, it was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen in my life. On TV and such, the area looks pretty big, but in real life, it is absoloutely HUGE. The hole down in the ground is probably a good 200 feet, I mean all of us didnt say a word for like an hour after that, it was so emotional.

90% of the flags that you saw on the news were given out for free, local gas stations gave out free bumper stickers, and window sticky things, its really not how you thought

i will remember it as he day that our humble little north america got a taste of what middle eastern countries get weekly.. obviously they dont get it in such an extreme measure.. but if yoiu add up all the deaths related to terrorism in those countries it will very quicking over take the loss on 9/11 i think it gave us all ( yes even us canadians) a reality check.. our world is not perfect.. .

what really shocks me, and im not saying this about all canadian citizens, is how many canadians laughed at america in any chat room that i was in. Same goes with the British people i talked to online, they just laughed at us for letting this happen. It really made me mad, but i know not all of them are like that, both canadians and brits.

og i assure you there was more then just brits and canadians laughing about it...

all around the world... the "super power" of the planet had been infiltrated and kicked right in the chops..

I had little emotion about it.. it was bound to happen sooner or later..

i dont want to get into it.. probably get warned, but yeah.. there were a lot that were joking.. it wasnt joking about the loss of life.. it was joking about the fact that it
